To make the teaching effective and easy to tough use the Gagnes nine events:

1st get the attention of your student by greeting them and tell them that jazz-chants is an interesting topic and fun to do or make.
2nd present your objectives that jazz chants can improve their pronunciation and also with vocabularies.
3rdstimulating or recall of prior learning.
4th presenting the stimulus by selecting their perception about jazz chants.
5th providing learning guidance by reading the jazzchants as they follow along with correct pronunciation and introduce some vocabularies.
6th eliciting performance allow them to make jazz chants present it with their own creativities.
7th providing feedback congratulates them or give positive reinforcement by doing such a nice job.
8th accessing performance.
Lastly, enhancing retention and transfer, the generalization of your topic.
